I have enjoyed reading other people's journals lately... those that have been tagged to write 20 things about themselves.. and it is now my turn. I have been tagged by =john-pecko So here we go....

1. I was born in Brisbane, Australia but moved to Malaysia when I was 12. I have since returned to Malaysia but my close friends and family still live in Malaysia, and for the moment I still see it as my home.

2. I currently work 2 waitressing jobs. When I come home I am exhausted and I just want to lie down and watch tv…

3. I love to travel! In January I hope to travel to San Francisco.

4. I am very highly opinionated… and stubborn! I am not afraid to tell people that they are wrong, or to make it understood that I disagree. Those close to me will not hesitate in telling you I can be a bit of a know-it-all at times, which gets me into a lot of trouble…

5. Despite being opinionated, I am not very good at saying –no-. This is a quality I am trying to change because lately it has resulted in me being slightly overworked… and almost resulted in me attending a youth-group seminar I did not want to go to. (I do still always stick to my moral beliefs, etc)

6. I am an over-thinker (when it comes to all things-except love). Lately, this has resulted in changing my mind about possible university courses about 10 times? I’m never going to graduate!

7. I’m a romantic at heart. As a result, when it comes to that special person, I lose all sense of what is and what is not practical… and I hope/dream/live in the future too much.

8. I could not live without music!!! When I’m not listening to music, I’m either writing lyrics, or singing.

9. I like to learn about conflict, conflict prevention and development… I am interested in blood diamonds and the illicit trade of small arms and light weapons and I like to know about political dilemmas faced by the world today.

10. I hate seafood! I really do… I just can’t help it.

11. Most of my best friends live in different countries. UK, USA, Malaysia…

12. I do not like being told what to do (and will quite often to the opposite of what I am told).

13. I have no patience for hypocrisy.

14. One of my favourite things to do is just sit talking and get lost in conversation with my friends.

15. I love looking up at the starts at night, or sitting up and listening to the rain and watching the lightening in a good storm.

16. I love helping people and will always be there for a friend (even if they do forget about time differences and call me in the middle of the night).

17. When I was little, I wanted to be a hairdresser or a famous basketball player.

18. I’m quite a messy person… I always end up spilling/dropping something on my self when I go out… and I often lose my desk under the piles of books and papers etc but I am quite organized in my own messy little way.

19. I am an emotionally deep person. I seek this quality in all my friends…

20. I believe in second chances… I am a very trusting person and will always give you a second chance. What you do with it is up to you…
